A look at Dr. Butts’ education and experience

Heather Butts MD received her Bachelor of Science (with an honors designation) in biomedical sciences from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. She then graduated with honors from Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. Finally, she completed her OBGYN residency at St. Joseph Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

During residency, Dr. Butts was the administrative chief resident. After completing her residency, she joined the Franciscan Medical Group. She worked there until she became an El Paso OBGYN at Women’s Health Texas. In her practice, she is passionate about treating high-risk pregnancies and offering ultrasound for obstetric and gynecologic issues.

Today, Heather Butts MD is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. These memberships allow her to stay on top of the latest developments in obstetrics and gynecology.
