Rebecca Teng, MD
Dr. Rebecca Teng, MD, FACOG, NCMP is accepting new patients at Oakwood Medical Centre at Seton Williamson in Round Rock. A Dallas native, Dr. Teng earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with Highest Honors in Plan II and Spanish at the University of Texas at Austin. She graduated with her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas and completed her residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
Recognized with awards in residency for excellence in outpatient care, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, patient advocacy, and medical education, Dr. Teng continues to follow these priorities and others as a Round Rock ObGyn. While previously practicing at Morton Hospital in Taunton, Massachusetts, she was chosen as “Rookie of the Year.” After returning to Texas, she was honored in the 2015 New Member Spotlight for the Travis County Medical Society Journal. Interested in evidence-based menopause care, she earned the NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner credential (NCMP). Dr. Teng is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Women’s Health at UT Austin Dell Medical School.
Dr. Teng enjoys all aspects of her ObGyn specialty and providing continuity of care over a lifetime. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, obstetrics, adolescent gynecology, menopause, and preventative gynecologic care. She is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Teng loves living in Austin with her husband and son. She enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She is an active supporter of women’s rights and health.
