Dr. Garcia is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biology. He earned his medical degree in 2014 from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Garcia completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in 2018. During his residency, Dr. Garcia also received the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine Residency Program Award for Excellence in Obstetrics.

Dr. Garcia is a Junior Fellow with the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of Texas Medical Association, and Bexar County Medical Society.

Dr. Garcia is married and has two daughters. His family are active members of Oak Hills Church, Crownridge Campus. In his free time Dr. Garcia trains at Randazzo’s Boxing Gym here in San Antonio. He was an amateur boxer and a runner up at the 2014 Dallas Golden Gloves. Dr. Garcia continues to be involved in boxing as a volunteer official ringside physician for USA Boxing.
