August 1 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Child and Infant CPR via ZOOM
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Child & Infant CPR course has been reinvented into a virtual ZOOM format.
In this course, we will cover basic CPR for infants & children, how to help a choking infant or child, and how to use an AED machine (Automated External Defibrillator). At the end of the class, I offer a Q&A session.
-This is not a BLS Certification Class
Be sure to sign up by the time you reach 32 weeks gestation. It is best taken before 36 weeks due to pregnancy physical limitations!
- This course is offered promptly every Saturday @ 1:00 pm
- Classes may be combined if there are fewer than 4 participants
- The class will last roughly 60 minutes, depending on class size
Since a manikin will not be available for participants at home, I encourage everyone to have a pillow to practice your compressions and a doll/stuffed animal for the choking portion. Practice during the class is not required, but recommended…
