Jennifer Hensley, CNM, EdD
Jennifer Hensley, a southern California beach native, is proud to work with our Austin ObGyns. She has lived in Colorado, Montana, Tennessee and now calls Texas home. In all of these states, she has worked as a certified nurse-midwife and provided women’s healthcare.
She received her associate degree in nursing (ADN) from El Camino College and her Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) from Biola University. Jennifer earned her nurse-midwifery designation, her Master of Science in nursing (MSN) and her Doctor of Education (EdD) from USC. She also completed the women’s health nurse practitioner program at the University of Colorado and a sleep health and disorders certificate from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
Jennifer is on the Medical and Scientific Board of the Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) Foundation. When she is not helping our Austin ObGyns care for women of all ages, she is the director of the DNP nurse-midwifery program at Baylor University. She very much enjoys living in Texas with two English Springer Spaniel rescues and being close to her nephew and niece and their families.
